Hey there, it’s The Monkey! I was born in Chile, but I left when I was young and have been exploring the world ever since. I’ve traveled to 15 countries, from Asia to Europe and the Americas, and have lived everywhere from Scandinavia to the Atacama Desert.
Despite working in tech, my true passion in life is skiing, seeing the world, and capturing my experiences through a camera lens. That’s why I started this blog – to keep a diary of my adventures and share them with others. My ultimate goal is to someday write a book of my adventures that others can enjoy.
I may not be the best writer out there, but I promise to keep things interesting and hopefully make you laugh along the way. And speaking of laughter, did I mention that at age 40, I still can’t grow a full beard?
When I’m not skiing or exploring new places, you can find me enjoying a glass of wine and a good story. I’m always questioning things and seeking out the perfect place to find peace of mind.
Since 2020, I’ve called Seattle home, where I live with my wife (who’s from Poland). Join me on my endless journey of self-discovery, and who knows – it might help you discover something about yourself too.
So subscribe, read, and leave a comment – I can’t wait to hear from you!
Cheers,
The Monkey
